Went for my post pardom appt last Thurs. Cant believe its already been 6 weeks. My incision is healing well. I try my hardest not to look at it. Its yucky! Ive lost 20 out of 34 lbs I gained. Good start, but I have a lot more than 34 lbs to loose. I will take what I can get. I'm still healing on the inside so Dr said I can now resume normal activities in moderation being careful not to overdo it.
Two funny stories have come up regarding the 6 week no sex period that just keep making me laugh. I wont name names, but I have to share because I just think its hysterical.
One friend was told by her Dr to wait 4 to 6 weeks for sex after her baby was born. She told her husband they had to wait 46 weeks! And he believed her!
Another went to her post pardom appt and begged her Dr to tell her something was wrong with her so she wouldn't have to have sex with her husband!
Too funny!

Both stories are hilarious...too funny that Suzie fessed up! I would love to tell Dennis we have to wait 46 weeks to do it again and see the look on his face!! Guaranteed that would make for a "Priceless" commercial!!
WOW Sally, 20 lbs. try holding 20 cans of veggies in 16 oz cans. You get a real feel for how much weight that really is. Just like most of us we have a few (ha-ha) more to lose, or if you are like me a like alot of few's. The sex thing I think the stories are funny but I love sex with Aaron, not sure why but 6 wks would kill me. I have pulled up your blog every day waiting for a post. I missed you guys. Im begging to feel like Im starting to know Jen and Suzie. Well Greys anatomy worked out, ghost whisperer was a little out their with the zombie thing. I should probably add that I am with Mary Jo...6 weeks would kill me as well, I only thought joking about 46 weeks would be funny! Dennis counts the days til my period ends most months!! Sorry if that's too much info! I figured since we were sharing..hehehehe.
I cant add anymore about sex. My husband reads my blog occasionally and he'd be mad if I was kissing and telling. My lips are sealed.
Anyway, about the weight, 20lbs sounds like a lot, but considering I had a 9lb kid and all the rest of the stuff that comes out with childbirth, It really doesnt seem like a lot. =(
